Petals in the Wind

M.H. John

This poem captures the serene and melancholic transition from life to death, depicted through the imagery of nature. I wanted to try out a different concept for this week’s poetry. The twilight shades and moonlight's kiss symbolize the gentle passage into the afterlife, where a silent bliss is found. The whispers of the wind and the soft sighs of birds create a lullaby-like atmosphere, questioning if anyone will mourn.
